Terms of Service.
These terms explain the general basis on which Blitz Studios provides website design and development services. Project-specific written quotes and agreements take precedence where agreed by both parties.
01. Quotes and pricing
Package prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) as starting prices for the stated package scope: Starter NZ$200, Professional NZ$500 and Enterprise NZ$1,000. The final written quote confirms the agreed page count, design complexity, content, functionality, integrations and delivery requirements.
A written quote will confirm the exact price, what is included, any third-party costs and whether GST applies before work begins. Additional work will be discussed and approved before charges are incurred.
02. Scope of work
Each package includes the features and limits described on the website and in the accepted quote. New pages, integrations, major redesigns and features outside the agreed scope may require an additional quote.
Clients are responsible for supplying accurate business information, text, images and other materials unless content creation is expressly included in the quote.
03. Revisions and changes
Revision allowances depend on the selected package. Minor changes requested after launch may be covered by an applicable support package. Major updates may cost NZ$40–NZ$100 or more if the work is more complex; the cost will be confirmed before work proceeds.
04. Hosting and domain arrangements
Domain registration and hosting are not automatically included in every package. Any included setup, hosting period, domain registration, renewal, transfer or third-party subscription will be listed clearly in the written quote before approval.
Domain availability and hosting performance depend on third-party providers. Ongoing renewal and maintenance costs must be agreed in advance, and clients should retain ownership and access to their domain wherever possible.
05. Support and maintenance
Post-launch support periods and included minor fixes depend on the selected package and will be stated in the written quote. Starter, Professional and Enterprise packages have different revision and support allowances; these are not unlimited maintenance plans or a guarantee of round-the-clock response.
New pages, major content changes, new features, ongoing maintenance and work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges after approval.
06. Payment and project delivery
Payment milestones, due dates, delivery estimates and any deposit requirements will be specified in the written quote. Work will begin once the agreed conditions are met. Delays in receiving content, approvals or payments may affect delivery dates.
07. Ownership and third-party materials
Ownership, handover of source files and usage rights will be set out in the accepted quote. Third-party software, fonts, images, hosting platforms and other assets remain subject to their own licence terms.
08. Client responsibilities
Clients must ensure that materials they supply may legally be used and that information published on their website is accurate. Clients are responsible for maintaining access to their accounts and safeguarding their credentials.
09. Cancellations and disputes
Any cancellation, refund, defect-correction and dispute-resolution arrangements will be specified in the written agreement. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable New Zealand law.
10. Privacy and enquiries
Information submitted through our enquiry form is used to respond to the request and discuss potential work. We will take reasonable steps to protect that information and limit access to people who need it for that purpose. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website and handle enquiries.
11. Changes to these terms
These general terms may be updated over time. The terms applicable to a particular project should be confirmed in the written quote or agreement accepted by both parties.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms or a potential project can be sent through our enquiry page or by phone.
